Meet Jordan. 🌍 While many are slowing down for the summer, Jordan Wright - our South Denver FCA Area Rep serving Littleton - is spending hers in South Africa, leading and mentoring an FCA Global Impact team of interns!! After South Africa she has an additional trip to Australia! If you know Jordan, you know this is exactly where her heart is. ❤️ From leading basketball camps in Kayamandi - one of the most underserved communities in the country - to sharing the hope of Jesus through conversations, games, and relationships, Jordan is using sport to point people to something greater. One of the most powerful moments? Watching kids eagerly soak up everything the team had to offer-not just basketball fundamentals, but the truth of who Jesus is. They also worshiped alongside a local church in Kayamandi and were welcomed like family... because in Christ, they are. 🤍 Join us in praying for Jordan as she finishes her time in South Africa. One athletic director made a decision that would impact an entire school. He could have gone a lot of different directions. Instead, he chose to invest in a school where he believed God wanted to move. Not because it was easy. Not because it was comfortable. Because he believed every coach and every athlete deserved the opportunity to hear the Gospel. He knew that if he could build a strong partnership with FCA, God could use sports as a platform to reach students who desperately needed hope. That vision became reality. Today, that school is home to one of the largest FCA Huddles in South Denver. Coaches are investing in students. Athletes are growing in their faith. And students are finding real community and lasting purpose through Jesus. This is what FCA exists for - reaching every coach and every athlete with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and using the influence of sports to transform schools, teams, and communities. What Are Our Staff Up To This Summer?? Staff Highlight: Jamal Lewis Meet Jamal Lewis he serves the Denver FCA area! This summer, Jamal is investing in the next generation through ministry and community outreach! 🏈 He recently partnered with the Denver Dream Center, Pastor B, and former Denver Broncos safety Justin Simmons for a football camp that encouraged and gave young athletes confidence both on and off the field. Birdie Bash is right around the corner, and we can’t wait to be back at Todd Creek on June 22 for a day of golf with purpose. ⛳️🔥 This year, our South Denver FCA team is taking on 72 holes in a single day to raise support for the ministry of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Why? Because we believe every coach and athlete deserves the opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ and grow in their faith. about this semester 🤍 What a gift these last few months have been. From middle school huddles and faith-filled moments on school campuses, Coaches Night Out gatherings, worship nights, team Bible studies, interns and countless conversations about Jesus—we’ve watched God move all across South Denver. From Littleton to Aurora, down through Parker and Castle Rock, students and coaches have stepped out in faith, shared the Gospel, built community, and pointed others to Christ. We’ve seen FCA Senior Leaders leave a lasting legacy at their schools, younger students rise into leadership, and lives impacted by the hope of Jesus. To every coach, athlete, student leader, volunteer, supporter, and family who made this semester possible: thank you. We’re grateful for what God has done, and even more excited for what’s ahead. Watching students physically nail their sin to the cross was such a powerful picture of what Jesus came to do. He bore our sin, our shame, our guilt, and our punishment so we could walk in freedom. ADVENT starts today! It’s a time of preparation and anticipation as we get ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus. If you’ve never heard of Advent before, here’s the simplest way to think of it: It’s a four-week countdown to Christmas where we slow down, breathe, and refocus on why Jesus came. The word “Advent” means arrival — celebrating when Jesus entered the world and reminding ourselves that He’s coming again. Each week points us back to something Jesus brings into our lives, and this week starts with HOPE. In a world full of pressure, noise, and constant comparison, Jesus offers a hope that doesn’t shake. Advent is like recalibrating your heart before Christmas — making room for Him again. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5 Want to join us this Advent? Take 10 minutes a day this week to slow down, open God’s Word, and ask Jesus to fill you with HOPE. Comment “I’m in” if you’re joining us! Let’s chase Jesus together this week.

🔥 From darkness to LIGHT. 🔥 At his new school, Gavin found FCA — and in that Huddle he saw something different: students boldly talking about God, shining light in the midst of darkness. 🌟 That light sparked change. What once felt like depression, anger, and hopelessness began to break off. Shackles were removed. Gavin started reading his Bible more, praying more, and openly talking about Jesus with others. And in that journey, he discovered the freedom and hope that only Jesus can bring. 🙌 Thank you, Jesus, for breaking chains and raising up student leaders like Gavin! 📍 See You at the Pole 2025 🙏🏽 This past week, students across the nation gathered for See You at the Pole — a powerful, student-led movement of prayer at schools from coast to coast. 🇺🇸🕊️ Right here in South Denver, students from SO many different schools came together in unity—meeting at their flagpoles to pray for their friends, their campuses, and our nation. It was more than a moment—it was a glimpse of what God is doing through this generation. 💥🔥 To every student who showed up early, prayed boldly, and stood in faith—you are not alone and we love you! LETS KEEP PRAYING!!!
